Anisa Jassawalla

Policy Consultant

Anisa Jassawalla joined the Senate Office of Research in 2018 and works on human services and homelessness issues, as well as issues regarding the 2020 census and elections and constitutional amendments.

Jassawalla previously worked as a legislative consultant with the Speaker’s Office of Research and Floor Analysis, where she handled public safety issues. Before that, she was an associate attorney for a family law practice.

Jassawalla holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis, and a juris doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law. She is a member of the California State Bar.
