Teresa Feo

Science and Technology Policy Fellow

Teresa Feo joined the Senate Office of Research in 2017 as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the California Council on Science and Technology. Prior to that, she was a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellow in biology at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History. There she studied birds and the many ways they use their feathers to fly, make colors, and produce sounds.

Feo holds a doctorate in ecology and evolutionary biology from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
