Julianne McCall

Julianne McCall joined the Senate Office of Research in 2016 as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow of the California Council on Science and Technology and covers issues related to public health and human services. Prior to that, she conducted medical research as a Fulbright Fellow in Sweden, worked as a Neuroscientist at the Neuroregeneration Laboratory of Heidelberg University in Germany, and established and directed several organizations related to science, medicine, education, diversity, and ethics, including TEDxFulbright, Sustained Dialogue, and the International “Brain Bee” Neuroscience Olympiad.

McCall holds a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Denison University, a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, and a doctorate in Neuroscience from Heidelberg University in Germany.
