Policy Consultant

Bob Franzoia joined the California Senate Office of Research in 2013, after 22 years with the Senate Appropriations Committee, where he worked as the committee's staff director for the last eight years. He previously served on the staffs of State Senators John Garamendi and Robert Presley, and was a consultant to the Joint Legislative Committee on Prison Construction and Operations.

Franzoia holds a bachelor's degree in social psychology and a master's degree in counseling and experimental psychology from California State University, Chico.
