Jody Martin

Jody Martin covers K–12 education issues. Her prior California state government experience includes working for the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, Department of Finance, Health and Human Services Agency, and State Library’s Research Bureau.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in public affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin. Upon receiving her master’s degree, Martin was a Presidential Management intern and was employed with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation.
