Policy Consultant

Luan Huynh joined the Senate Office of Research in 2022 and focuses on human services issues. Huynh was a senior policy analyst for Senator Steven Bradford in 2021-22, covering human services, education, judiciary, cannabis, public safety, and budget issues. Before that, Huynh was a personal budget consultant to Senator Holly Mitchell from 2015 to 2021. Huynh was a senior policy attorney at the Child Care Law Center in 2015 and a supervising attorney in both the housing and welfare practices at the East Bay Community Law Center from 2005 to 2015.  

Huynh holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications, and a law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
