Paul Woods covers policy areas related to the judiciary, elections, civil rights, disability rights, fair employment and housing, immigration, and privacy. Before joining SOR in 2022, Paul worked briefly in legislative advocacy. Before that, he was the grassroots manager for Consumer Attorneys of California. Paul was a district representative for then-Assemblymember Richard Pan. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of San Diego and a law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
