Leonor Ehling specializes in education finance. Prior to joining the California Senate Office of Research in 2007, she was the K–12 education consultant for the Assembly Budget Committee for eight years and worked as a consultant for the Assembly Education Committee from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that she worked for the Legislative Analyst’s Office and the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
Ehling holds a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
